Betty Jean Felder, 75, of Jacksonville, FL went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 9, 2018. She was born November 20, 1942 in Memphis, TN to the late Earl and Evelyn (Simpson) Mote. She was a dedicated and faithful member of 103rd Baptist Church.

Betty enjoyed traveling, especially on the cruise ships and cherished time spent with her family. She was a kind, thoughtful and generous lady that was loved by all who met her. Betty had a sharp sense of humor and enjoyed being with people.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her and forever treasured in the hearts of her family. Betty is preceded by her father, Earl Vin (Little Boy) Mote; mother, Evelyn Louise Mote Barr; brother, Robert Earl Mote and sister, Carolyn Marie Mote. She leaves behind her best friend and husband of 56 years, Charles H. Felder; children, Wanda Swanstrom (Danny) and Rodney Felder (Tonya) and grandchildren, Jayme Echols, April Swanstrom and Ashley Swanstrom.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Parlor. Funeral services will be at 11:00am, Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Chapel with Dr. Dan McLean officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Betty’s memory to Mayo Clinic of Jacksonville, FL at www.
