She was daughter of the late Charles Mulligan and Beulah May Tracey Minich and preceded in death by a grandson, James Roper. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, John Edward Sharer of Nicholls, GA.

, three children, Melissa Lois Roper of Aniston, AL. , John Edward Sharer, Jr. (Jillian) and Tressa Marie Wallingford (Joseph) both of St. Augustine, FL. , two brothers, Charles Mulligan (Donna Sue) of Hagerstown, MD.

, George Mulligan (Becky) of Martinsburg, WV. , one sister, Bessie Coleman of Clarksville, TN. , 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
