Beulah Jean Green passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on June 19, 2018 at the age of 87 years young. She was born one of seven children, from the union of Stanley and Lily Belle Childs on June 24, 1930 in Columbus, OH. On August 9, 1953 she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Eugene W. Green.

Mom was the epitome of the Proverbs 31 Virtuous Woman – who cared about her family and others. She briefly worked outside of the home, however, she worked for the Lord, encouraging and praying for His children and the salvation of her family members and others. Mom was a woman of Faith who believed and lived her life as nothing was impossible for God.

She has prayed and covered not just her children and grandchildren’s ministries, but other ministries around the city of Columbus. She was a great intercessor and prayer warrior. Mom loved to read and study the Word of God daily until the day she took her last breath.

Mom is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Lilly Childs; husband, Eugene W. Green; daughter (deceased at birth); three brothers and three sisters. She leaves to continue her legacy, four children, Pastor Renee (Walter) Green-Russell, Reverend Steven (Linda) Green, Reverend Michael (Deborah) Green, and Reverend Monta (Gregory) Williams; sister-in-lobe; Monta Rocker; special nieces, Tina (James) Tucker, Connie Oliver, and Arlena Trice; 12 grandchildren, Minster Hope (Jason) Marshall, Angela Green, Pastor Erick (Angel) Miles, Danielle Green, Maria (Develin) Ashlee Green, Derrick J. Smith, Jr., Janelle (Jermain) Bailey, Steven Green, Krystal (Charles) Mitchell, and Tyler Williams; 18 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
