Beulah Leoran Hendrix died May 1, 2018 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years 10 months. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Maguire Cemetery entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Beulah was born April 22, 1932 in Krebs, Oklahoma to Floyd Lee and Evelyn Marrow (Sooter) Hendrix. She was raised and attended school in Oklahoma. She moved to California when she was 18 and spent 22 years there before moving back to Oklahoma when she was 40.

Beulah worked for the University of Oklahoma as a cook in Couch Cafeteria until her retirement. She loved arts and crafts as well as reading. Beulah was of the Baptis faith.

Beulah is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Hendrix and Evelyn Morrow; sisters, Leona Bombay, Lillie Canfield; brother, Troy Hendrix; nephew, Benny Canfield; and niece, Sheila Canfield. Survivors include her son, Floyd Wayne Mize; grandchildren, Aaron Mize, Matthew Mize, Nathan Mize; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
