Our beloved Mom, Granny, Aunt, Cousin and Friend, Beulah Mae Samples, 93, a 65+ year resident of Pratt, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 16, 2019. Beulah was born July 22, 1925 to the late Clara (Johnson) and William Martin Oyler. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Fred A. Samples, her son John L. Samples (surviving wife Sarah), and 3 grandchildren (Andrew Johnson, Amy Dawn Samples, and Rebekah E. Moore).

Beulah is survived by her daughter Jan Holmes (Aurora, CO), Connie Johnson (Mel) (Warrensburg, MO), Fred Samples, Jr. (Patricia) (Macon, GA), William with whom she made her home (Pratt, WV), Jim Samples (Ann) (Nitro, WV), David Samples (Debbie) (Pratt, WV), Mary E. Allen (Jeff) (Dunbar, WV), Nancy Dobbs (Lonnie) (Riceville, TN), 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchild. Beulah was a long-time member of Old Kanawha Baptist Church of Pratt where funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20 at 2pm with visitation one hour prior to service. Internment will be at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow, WV.

Arrangements entrusted to Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank. Proverbs 31:28 “Her children rise up and call her blessed”.
