OBITUARY Beverley J. Lilly January 3, 1929 – September 1, 2018 Beverley Janet (Vogan) Lilly, age 89 of Sarasota, FL passed away September 1, 2018. She was born January 3, 1929 in Pennsylvania. Beverley moved to Sarasota, FL in 1938 and graduated from Sarasota High School and went on to receive a college education.

Upon graduating college, she worked for a short time for the Herald Tribune Newspaper. Beverley then became the book keeper for Alta Vista Elementary for 8 years. She was then promoted to the auditing department of Sarasota School Board until her retirement.

Beverley was also a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church on Oak Street. Beverley was the beloved wife of 63 years to the late Merle J. Lilly and was a loving mother to Patricia J. Roberts (Schuster) of Louisiana and Michael Jerome Lilly of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Robert C. Roberts of Houston, TX, Joan Marie Pettit (Collins) and Rachel Nadine Pettit of Louisiana; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

A service will be taking place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Tidewell Hospice.
