Beverly Ann Liles Dewey, October 27, 1934 — October 02, 2018

Beverly Ann Liles Dewey went to her heavenly home on October 2, 2018 at the age of 83. She was born October 27, 1934 in Tonkawa, OK to Opal Betty Basham Liles Adair and Marshall Colwell Liles. She attended Ponca City Schools and graduated in 1953.

She also attended Northern Oklahoma College. Beverly has been faithful to the Lord and His church her entire life. She accepted the Lord as her Savior at the age of 12.

She met the love of her life, Bill Clifford Dewey, and they married January 5, 1955. Soon after their marriage Bill answered the call to the ministry, and Beverly served along side him until his death in 1981. She has served in children’s ministries, women’s ministries, music, outreach, and various other capacities in the church.

Beverly retired from Conoco in 1993 and from Ponca City Schools transportation department in 2012. During her free time, she enjoyed being with her family and participating in church activities. She loved reading her bible and spent many hours teaching her family about God and His great love for them.

She also enjoyed playing games and having fun with those closest to her and spoiling her Chihuahua, Princess. Beverly will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cynthia Blodgett and Charles, Betty Butterfield and Billy, and Bill Dewey and Barbara; her grandchildren Matthew, John, Tyler, Paige, Kathryn and their spouses; her great-grandchildren Finley, Noah, Jonah, Jay, Allie, Nicholas, Brody, and Mia; her siblings Don, Mike, Pat, Ina, David and their spouses; and her sisters-in-law Peggy, Geri, and Fran; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Bill; parents, Marshall and Opal; and brother, W.J. Beverly’s commencement celebration will be held at Central Baptist Church, 1732 E Coleman Rd, Ponca City, OK 74604, on October12, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
