Beverly Hazel Ann Filion, 79, of the Lagree Rd. , Churubusco died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019 at CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh.

Born on March 17, 1939 in Plattsburgh, NY, she was the daughter of Roy and Mary (Bruno) Traman. They predeceased her. She was married to Marcel Filion on March 24, 1962 in St. Patrick’s Church, Chateaugay by Rev.

Argo. Beverly graduated from Chateaugay Central School. She was employed at Meadowbrook Nursing Home for a few years.

She later owned and operated Filion’s Snack Bar and Betwixt and Between Antiques Shop in Churubusco for many years. She is survived by her husband of 56 years; two children, Michael Filion and his wife, Julie of Churubusco, Carla Filion and her companion, Rick LaFave of Ellenburg; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held at the Chateaugay Funeral Home on Thursday, Jan.

24 from 4 to 6 p.m. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel at 6 p.m. Spring burial will take place at Sheldon Hill Cemetery, Ellenburg Depot. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Mrs. Beverly Hazel Ann Filion please visit our Sympathy Store.
