DATELINE: SHELBY, NORTH CAROLINA Beverly Kay Woody Beverly Kay Woody, 63, of Shelby, NC, passed away on December 22, 2018 at Atrium Health – Cleveland in Shelby, NC. She was born in Maryland to the late Zealand James Williams. Kay was a nurse for over 30 years and loved taking care of, and helping people.

She enjoyed vacationing at the beach. Kay enjoyed crocheting and playing games on Facebook. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
