Obituary for Bill R. Dickson Bill R. Dickson, age 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 27, 2018. Bill was born to George and Florence (Erlandsen) Dickson on March 17, 1945 in Wilmington, Delaware. Bill married Joyce Winstead in June of 1974.

Bill served in the Vietnam War as a helicopter pilot, in the Army Reserves and in the U. S. Forest Service as a pilot. Bill and Joyce moved from O’Brien, FL to Wildwood, FL in 2014. Bill loved to fly and spent many hours working on and tinkering with his plane.

Bill was a member of the American Legion, the Gideons and the Vietnam Helicopter Pilot Association. Bill loved music and played the French Horn in the Florida Baptist Symphony Orchestra. Bill is survived by his wife Joyce, and their children, Angela Boyette, Ronnie Bass, Cindy Croft, Melinda Farmer, and Natalie Dickson-Gozar.

Bill has Eight Grandchildren and Fifteen Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Karen Nielsen of Fargo, North Dakota, and Carole and Ernie Pearce of Sun City, Arizona. A service celebrating Bill’s homegoing will be held on Monday, July 2nd at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to services at the Village of Faith Baptist Church, Wildwood, Florida.

Internment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on July 2nd at 2:30 PM . Memorials may be made to Village of Faith Baptist church Building Fund. www.
