Hunter Age 64 passed away February 19, 2019 at her home. Survived by husband: William Hunter; 2 sons: Jason E (Sara) Hunter, William E. Hunter, 2 granddaughters: Emily Hunter, Isabelle Hunter; 2 grandsons: Kodi Stillson, Isaiah Hunter; Great grandson Oliver Stillson; 4 grand step children: D.J., David, Jamie, Josie; Mother: Maddie Sue (Sam) Bryant; Sisters: Brenda (Terry) Crawford Shafer, Linda Melton Goodnight, Debbie Bryant Hickey, Pamela Bryant Heady, and Jeannie Bryant (Steve) Crane; Brother: David (Nancy) Melton and Terry Bryant; Brothers and sisters-in-law: Larry (Pat) Hunter, Pat Hunter Hooper (Tom); Jan Hunter Beough (Rick), Tom Hunter, and Connie Hunter (Danny) Melton; Proceeded in death by Step-father: Robert Crawford; Brother: Robert L. Melton She was loved by her multitude of nieces and nephews all across the United States, and longtime friends: Jan Silcox Young and Pam Geary Woodward. Billie was an avid fisherman and was known as “The Crappie Lady of Dandridge, TN,” where she has lived since 2008.

She cheered her beloved Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears Her strawberry jam was a favorite of all who tasted it and her quilts were something she made and loved giving away to family and friends. She was involved with the Mountain Fishing Clinics and was a great gardener and canner. She graduated from Western High School in Howard Co. Indiana in 1973, and Beauty College in 1975; she was employed in Howard and Tipton Co. over the years.
