Obituary for Mrs. Billie Jo Stowe Mrs. Billie Jo Rousey Stowe, 87, of Hartwell, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Hartwell Health & Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Stowe was the daughter of the late Frank W. and Corrie Lee Scarboro Rousey. She was the widow of Mr. Billy Joe Stowe, and was also preceded in death by her first husband Norman Echols, and a son, Eddie Echols.

Mrs. Stowe worked many years in the dry-cleaning business. She was of the Holiness faith. Survivors include her sister, Ruth Beck of Royston; two children, Mike Echols and Gail Boleman; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Elberton, with Pastor Johnny Stowe officiating. A time of visitation began at 1:30 p.m. at the graveside just prior to the service. Flowers were graciously accepted.
