Obituary for Mr. Herman Lynn Johnson Mr. Herman Lynn Johnson, 70, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at AnMed Hospital in Anderson, South Carolina. A native of Elbert County, Mr. Johnson was the son of the late Ace Johnson and Mary Bonds Johnson. He worked for J.P. Stevenson for many years.

He loved spending time outdoors. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Partain and a sister Carolyn Johnson. Survivors include his wife Brenda Faye Sharping Johnson of Elberton, three daughters; Donna Johnson of Elberton, Robin Michelle Smith of Calhoun Falls, SC, Amanda Johnson of Elberton; eight grandchildren Trey Nelson, Robin McMurtry, Beth Hagood, Travis Smith, Lee Smith, Beth Smith, Teela Partain, Manuel Partain, Jr.; three great-grandchildren and two sisters.

Mr. Johnson’s wishes were to be cremated. A service will be planned at a later date. Arrangements for Mr. Herman Lynn Johnson were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
