Obituary for Mrs. Rebecca Garcia Reid Mrs. Rebecca Ruth Garcia Reid, 60, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Reid was born in Burnet, Texas to the late Zaragos L. and Blasa Ribera Garcia. She was married to Phillip Charles Reid, with whom she had celebrated 38 years of marriage.

Mrs. Reid was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and playing games. She especially enjoyed cooking, taking recipes and recreating them as her own, and did it very well. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In addition to her husband, Phillip, Mrs. Reid is survived by a daughter, Rachel Reid of Hull, and two sons, Michael Gresham and Steven Reid, both of Elberton. She also leaves behind a granddaughter, Madison Gresham; eight grandchildren; four sisters; and one brother. A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Reid’s life is being planned, and will be announced when those plans are finalized.
