Billy Don McClung, age 77, of Sheridan went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. He was born June 7, 1941 in Sheridan to the late Robert and Winnie McClung. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Robert McClung, his grandson Nicholas Wayne and one sister.

He was in the United States Army and bravely served with the 82nd Airborne Division during Vietnam. He was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church, an avid outdoorsman, a friend to animals and wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Dianna McClung, one daughter Sandra Ratcliff (Michael), one sister Mary Lunsford, grandchildren, Brandi Ratcliff (Barett), Lacey Nobles, Brittany Harrell (Brad), Robbie Stone, three great-grandchildren Kaydence Ratcliff, Emma and Ava Harrell, and his daughter-in-law, Marsha McClung.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Center Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan (870) 942-3231.
