OBITUARY Billy Don Price April 13, 1947 – September 25, 2018 Born on April 13, 1947 in the small town of Savoy, TX. He completed his race surrounded by family at the age of 71 on September 25, 2018. He was one of seven children born to Kenneth and Kathleen Price.

He leaves behind his beautiful wife of 45 years Kiena; two sons Bodie and Joel; his daughter Pam; nine grandchildren: Brad, Eric, Corey, Elizabeth, Matthew, Amanda, Carey, Cayla, and Jamie; ten great-grandchildren: Caleb, Noah, Jamie, Dakota, Emerson, Mallory, Logan, Jimmy, Haylee Mae, and Alessa; four brothers Wayne, Jim, Tommy, and David Lee, all of whom will miss his smile, hugs, laughter, and love. Billy always loved music and his brother Tommy began teaching him to play guitar when he was ten years old. By the age of twelve, he had decided to be a musician and started a band with his brothers Tommy and Mark.

They played every club between Texas and Oklahoma within 100 miles of where they lived. At the age of seventeen, he joined the Army in 1964, served two tours and was Honorably discharged. When he returned, he landed in Phoenix, AZ and reunited with his brothers and reformed their band.

They played a lot of local clubs, until he was offered a permanent gig at a high class, well paying club called The Night Life. He was living a musicians dream, and became a sensation as a singer along with his exceptional guitar skills. He had the opportunity to play with a lot of stars who preformed in Phoenix.

Some of his musical heroes were: Waylon and Willie, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristopherson, Johnny Russell, Meryl Travis, Charlie Christian, Les Paul, Mary Ford, Carl Perkins, Roy Clark, Buck Owens, among others. Music was Billy’s first love, followed by Fender guitars, and fishing. In 1970 he met the other love of his life Kiena, they married in 1973 and their journey began settled in Phoenix to raise their Amazingly Awesome children.

One day he got a call to play in Nashville, they arrived in 1980 and never left. Billy was an amazing and unique man with a musical gift he loved to share with so many. He passed his love of music to all of his children and grandchildren.

They all received musical instruments from him at some point in their lives, and fishing poles. He was a wonderful husband, a loving father, and the best Grandpa-Papa-Pop ever. He was adored by his family and will be missed deeply forever.

Gone from this Earth, but never forgotten until we meet again! !
