Obituary for Billy E. Dietiker Billy E. Dietiker, 87, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Missouri Veteran’s Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born June 12, 1931 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Charles and Lovie (Pippen) Dietiker. Billy first married Bonnie Ross.

She preceded him in death in 1985. He later married Betty Lou Blackwell Freeman. She preceded him in death in 2017.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for Central Food’s and Hutson’s Furniture. Billy loved to raise animals and go fishing.

He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was a very funny and ornery man who will be greatly missed. Survivors include his son, Perry Dietiker of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; three grandchildren, Bethany (Grant) Adams, Brandon (Stephanie) Dietiker and Jeff (Kassy) Dalton; four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Abby, Kristin and Kynleigh. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Bonnie; second wife, Betty; son, Thomas Scott Dietiker; daughter-in-law, Veronica Dietiker; brothers, Tom, Leroy “Chuck” Dietiker and an infant brother.

Friends may call 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev.

Donny Ford officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer’s Association.
