He was born on November 2, 1960 in Foreman, Arkansas. He was one of many children born to Monroe and Luvenia Threadgill of Tom, Ok.

Billy was a member of the Community Missionary Baptist Church of Tom, OK. Billy went to school in Tom and graduated from Haworth High school in 1980. He began working for Matteson Farm in June, 1980 and remained employed with them the majority of his life until his health failed him.

Billy was united in marriage to Olga Gaffney on November 8, 1980 and to this union, 4 children were born and they raised his nephew as their own He was preceded in death by his parents Monroe, and Luvenia Threadgill, siblings; George Braggs, Sammie Lee Threadgill, Irene Adam, Earnestine Williams, Jacquelyn Austin, and Earnest Threadgill. Billy leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 38 years Olga Threadgill of Haworth, OK; 3 daughters; Nikia Threadgill of Haworth, OK, Charlotte (Patrick) Burris of Raeford, North Carolina, and Monique Threadgill of Idabel, OK. Sons; Billy (Tarhonda) Threadgill of Texarkana, TX and Shade Threadgill of Haworth, OK.

Siblings; Georgia Hobby, Tom, and Daisy (Tommy) Stafford of Tom, OK; Woodrow (Georgia) Threadgill of Dekalb, Tx. , Mary (Emmitt) Stafford of Eagletown, Ok. , Luvenia (Kenneth) Flemings, Jerry (Lisa) Threadgill, of Tom, OK, Lawanda Threadgill of Oklahoma City, OK, Sara Flemings, and Val Threadgill, of Tom, OK, and Renee Wesley of Dallas, TX.

Also, 7 grandchildren, and host of uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Threadgill’s funeral service is set for 11 am Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Haworth High School Auditorium with Pastor Roy Barlow officiating. Interment will follow at the Alfred French Cemetery in Foreman Arkansas.
