Billy Joe Sartain, age 81 of White Pine, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 12, 2019. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Cody Sartain, parents; Rueben (Joe) and Rosie Sartain, brothers; Robert, Alvin and Homer Sartain. He is survived by his children: Dennis Sartain and wife Kathy, Benny Sartain and wife Darlene and Jamie Barnard-Beningo and husband Mike, grandchildren: Tiffany Campbell, Brian Sartain, Justin Sartain, Kasey (Shae) Rackley, Jesse (Anne) Sartain, Chris (Lexi) Barnard and Aaron Barnard, 13 great-grandchildren, brothers: D.C. (Birdie) Sartain and Oliver (Sandy) Sartain, sister: Aileen Cody, also several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine with the Rev. Billy Dale Shelton officiating, family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service. Graveside Interment will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019, 1:00pm in White Pine Cemetery.
