Billy was born on October 18th, 1944 in North Bend, Ohio, the son of Jess Poindexter and Alice (Hughes) Poindexter. Surviving is his wife and partner-in-crime… Read More » of over 35 years; Linda Miller Poindexter, brother; Frank (Linda) Poindexter, sisters; Bev (Bill) Hubbard, Bonnie (Terry) McGuffey, Julie (Roger) Shaffer, and Kimberly (Bill) Reese, his children; Ronnie Poindexter, Billy Joe Poindexter, Doug (Laura) Ratliff, Kevin (Jill) Wilkerson, Julie (Justin) Tucker, and Brandi Poindexter, Grandchildren; Jennifer (Chad) Poindexter, Erica Watson, Elise Sears, Cameron Wilkerson, Devin Wilkerson, Billy Poindexter and Jenna Tucker, great-grandchildren; Phillip, Sean, and A. J. Alwell, Kenzie Sears, and Xander Thurman, and many nephews and nieces.

Billy’s big heart and kind spirit was well liked and will be missed by all. Billy was an avid golfer with the best short game. He never met a stranger, and remembered everyone’s face.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother in law; Terry Imholt, and best friend; John Pennington. He is now peacefully in Heaven’s Paradise playing the best golf game ever!
