Billy’s Obituary Billy Roy Sutton, age 73, of Smithville passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Riverpark Hospital in McMinnville. He was a Methodist, veteran in the Army National Guard, an AmVet, and a member of Moose Lodge 1725. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 8 at 2pm with interment to follow at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Ruth Young Sutton; Sister: Betty Swan, Nephew: Brian Swan. Survivors include his wife: Linda Redmon Sutton of Smithville; 1 Sister: Sue McCoig of Smithville; 1 Brother: Danny (Teresa) Sutton of McMinnville; 4 Nieces: Michelle (Brandon) Patton of Rock Island, Kati (Zach) Minton of McMinnville, Angela (Kevin) Harvey of Lebanon, Ashley (Michael) Lich of Old Hickory; 2 Nephews Stevie and Tonya Swan and Kyle and Taylor Sutton of McMinnville; 1 Brother-in-law: Leonard Redmon of Lebanon; Several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins also survive. Visitation with the Sutton family will be on Tuesday from 2-8pm and Wednesday 10am-2pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses in memory of Billy.
