Obituary for Bob Armstrong Robert Gorilla (Bob) Eugene Armstrong, 67, of Liberal, Kansas, died Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Southwest Medical Center. Bob was born July 9, 1951 in Joplin, MO. , to LeRoy Armstrong and Lillian Luna Armstrong.

He graduated from Liberal High School in 1970 and attended Seward County Vocational Technical School. Bob worked for many years driving truck for Yellow Freight Company. He was a member of the Patriot Guard which he dearly loved, President of the Liberal Gun Club, the American Legion Lawrence M. Wimmer Post #80 and the National Rifle Association.

His survivors are a Brother, Clifford Armstrong, Liberal, KS. A granddaughter Ashleigh B. Armstrong. And a Sister Mary Ellen Smith, Rogers, AR.

He is preceded in death by his Daughter, Allison Brooke Armstrong, 2 sisters Betty Ruth Sargent, and Joanne Downs. The family has chosen cremation and that services will be at a later date. To leave the family condolences please visit www.
