David Raymond Rodriguez, 58, of Liberal, passed away on February 26, 2019 at Liberal, KS. He was born on February 15, 1961 to Margarito “Lucky” and Gladys (Hemet) Rodriguez at Liberal, KS. On May 3, 2017 he married Yolanda Sanchez after being together since 2010 at Liberal, KS; she survives.

David went to work for National Beef Packing Co. in 1990 where he worked as a Supervisor until his retirement in May 2018. He was an avid weightlifter, enjoyed riding his Harley, four wheeling, hunting, fishing, cookouts, traveling, camping and spending time with his family. David is also survived by his Daughter- Marissa Rodriguez and Fiancé Landon Williams of Oklahoma City, OK; Two Sisters-Patty Stegman of Liberal, KS, Sharon Hartman and husband Bob of Lincoln City, OR; Two Brothers-Danny Rodriguez of Liberal, KS, Donnie Rodriguez of Spokane, WA; Step Brother- Jerry Turley of Garden City, KS; Two Stepsons- Isaiah Sanchez of Liberal, KS, Marc Veliz of El Paso, TX; Step Sister- Jo An Petrey of Hobbs, NM; Mother In Law- Marcela Martinez of El Paso, TX; He was preceded in death by his parents and two step brothers.

There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be 10:30 am Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Liberal. .
