Bobby J. Cook, 81, widower of Addie Mae Cook, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018. Born in Frankfort on October 22, 1936 to the late Luther Cook and Carrie Snow. He was a self-employed mechanic and a veteran of the US Army.

Bobby enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Cook (Ed) Lawrence, Florence; Lisa Cook, Midway; Teresa Kaye (William) Smith, Frankfort; Rhonda Gail Bourbor, Louisville; Debra Jean (David) Day, IN; son, Bobby Eugene (Stacy) Cook,… Read More » Frankfort; sisters, Helen (Harold) Johnson, TX, and Lula Belle Boler, Frankfort; 9 grandchildren; and 8 Great Grandchild. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Monday, July 30, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.

Chaplain Lisa Heuser will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casket bearers will be Weston Lawrence, Bobby E. Cook III, Aaron Cook, Austin Smith, Matt Brown, Dylan Johnson, Isiah Perry, and Nathan Smith.

Gilman Cook Gill, Mark Cook, Carl Johnson, Harold Tate, and Heather Bundy will serve as honorary casket bearers. Visitation will be from 11:00am until start of service Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
