He is survived by his loving wife, Terrie Morrison Clifton of Decatur; one son, Nick Clifton and wife, April, of Somerville; one daughter, Elizabeth Smalley and husband, Jeremy, of Decatur; two sisters, Teresa Adams (Kenny) of Union City, TN, and Melinda Johnson of Dresden, TN; five grandchildren, Ryan Clifton, Dakota Clifton, Veronica Ekert, Alexander Ekert, and Isaac Ekert; and sister- and brother-in-law, Erica and Brad Cohen of Wildwood, MO. No service is scheduled at this time.
