Coach Bob Campbell, age 71 of Chatsworth, passed away Friday, May 24th 2019 at Quinton Memorial in Dalton, Georgia. Bob was a teacher in the Murray County School System for over 32 years. He coached several different sports.

His coaching record for middle school basketball was 354-201. His high school golf teams participated twice in state tournaments. Bob was also the high school basketball scorekeeper for over 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mallie Campbell; brothers, Charles, Denny and Leon Campbell; and sisters, Helen Campbell and Juanita Cundiff. He is survived by his brother, Tom Campbell; sisters, Frieda Shaw and Linda Wilson. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Coach Bob Campbell will be 6:00 pm Thursday, May 30th 2019 from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth with Rev.

Micah Johnson and Dr. Danny Harkleroad officiating. Burial will be in Charlestown Cemetery in Charlestown, Indiana. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Thursday, May 30th 2019.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of Coach Campbell be made to The Chatsworth Boys and Girls Club 502 Chestnut Street Chatsworth, Georgia 30705. Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
