Bobby Ray Jenkins, 78, of Franklin, NC, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018, with his loving wife of 55 years, Dyane by his side, he was also surrounded by family. He was born January 17, 1940 in Swain County, to the late James Earl and Pearl Nations Jenkins. He served in the US Army for 20 years and worked for government services as a contract specialist for 11 years.

He was an avid sports fan and you could find him most weekends watching the Tar Heels and Redskins game. No services are planned at this time. Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Jenkins family.
