Bobby Wayne Owens, 88, of White Hall, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019. He was born August 15, 1930 in Bearden to the late George Claude Sr. and Gladys Lavonia Williamson Owens. Bobby was reared and educated in Camden, graduating from Camden High School.

He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, then in 1957 moved to Pine Bluff and went to work and retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal. He was a member of the Baptist faith, and a life member of the VFW. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Jenny Lou Wright Owens, whom he married August 20, 1952 in Waldo; 2 sons, Larry Owens and John David Owens; and a brother, George Claude Owens Jr

He is survived by his son, Roger Owens of Pine Bluff; 2 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be private by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Home. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Bobby Wayne Owens please visit our Sympathy Store.
