Leopold, Indiana Bonnie F. Hauser, 80, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the home of her daughter. She was born in Leopold, Indiana on September 29, 1938 to the late Clarence and Alma (Foster) Genet. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Hubert Hauser in 1988, infant twin daughters, Marilyn and Carilyn and a sister, Wanda Bolin.

Bonnie attended Leopold Grade School and Oil Township High School. She was a lifetime member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. Bonnie had worked at Hydro Tex, formerly in Cannelton, Tell City Chair Company and most recently was a cook and waitress at Marcy’s Restaurant in Leopold where people looked forward to her desserts.

She also babysat for many years, which she loved. Bonnie enjoyed cooking and baking, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, cross word puzzles, cross stitching and quilting, but mostly, she enjoyed being with her family. Surviving are her children, Steve Hauser (Cheryl), Tell City, Gail Edwards (David), Leopold and Kim Aders (Brad), Tell City; a sister, Norma Jean Brinksneader, Tell City; brothers, Clarence Allan Genet (Malinda), Tell City, Jerry Genet, Leopold and Doyle Genet (Becky), Denver, CO; brother in law, Richard Bolin, St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Christina Stiles (Jason), Jason Shadwick (Debra), Leann Badger (Ty), Deann Anson (Cory), Kyla Schroeder (Isaac), Ashley Aders (Travis James) and Coby Aders; great grandchildren, Justin, Addison and Jaxon Stiles, Hayden, Allison and Hunter Shadwick, Mila and Emmitt Badger, Zoey and Piper Anson and Clyde and Carter Schroeder and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM CST Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev.

Brian Esarey will officiate. Visitation will be held Monday from 2:00-7:00 PM and Tuesday 8:30-9:15 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Perry Fire Department and Perry County Rescue.
