Bonnie’s Obituary A memorial service will be held for Bonnie Grace Allred Pulli on May 18, 2019, who passed away peacefully on November 18, 2018. Bonnie was born May 18, 1933 in Price, Utah, to Iva Fausett and Luran L. Allred. She grew up in Talmage and Duchesne, Utah, graduated from Duchesne High School after which she married Leslie P. Lowrey and gave birth to her son, Keith L. Lowrey on May 10, 1952.
They later divorced. She married her soulmate, James Richard Pulli on July 11, 1964 in Elko, Nevada. Their happy marriage lasted over 46 years until his death in 2010.
Bonnie worked as the Manager of the Financial Office at Carbon Hospital, later Castleview Hospital, where she made many lifelong friends among her co-workers and the public until her retirement. Bonnie had many loves~her family, cooking, reading, knitting, her glass of Rose’ wine and growing herbs in her garden which she distributed to everyone as “Bonnie’s Bounties”. She was selfish only with one thing: the recipe for her famous spaghetti sauce.
However, she was kind enough to write it down where it was found in a cookbook for posterity after her death. Bonnie loved to visit with everyone and could talk for hours, particularly after Trump was elected. Her catchphrase was, “Well, ANYWAY…” Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Louise and Peter Pulli; her loving husband, Jim, and her beloved son, Keith.
Also, brothers-in-law Ted Peterson, Douglas Horrocks, Daniel Pulli, Grant O’Neil; sisters-in-law, Ruth O’Neil, Bernice Brown, Lorraine Blornlie, and Evelyn Gullickson. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Maureen Lowrey; sisters, Iva Lou Peterson Wadsworth (Ron), NaDeane Horrocks, and brother, Byron (Linda) Allred; sisters-in-law, Sherron Pulli, Marion (Joe) Matson, brother-in-law, Bob (Carol) Pulli, as well as her special nieces, nephews, their children and grandchildren. Her memorial will be held at Mitchell Mortuary in Price at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019, which would have been her 86th birthday, after which her ashes will be interred, along with her son’s, next to her husband in the Masonic Section of Price City Cemetery.
The family would like to express appreciation to Rocky Mountain Home Care and its employees for the service and care they provided Bonnie. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www. mitchellfuneralhome.net.
