Bonnie Swaim, 74, of Snyder, died Saturday, December 29, 2018. Mrs. Swaim was a native of Dumas and a resident of the Snyder Community, East of Hamburg, for the past 41 years. She worked as a Control Officer for Farmers Bank and was a supporter for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Mrs. Swaim was a member of the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church for over 10 years. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy and Lottie Ward Moss and two brothers, Alvis Moss, and Dewight Moss.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ocie “O.L.” Swaim of Montrose; her sons, Gary Swaim of Snyder and Mark Swaim and wife, Jeanie, of Dallas, Texas; her sisters, Ruby Cope and Sherry Jones both of Pine Bluff, Margie Moss of Oklahoma, Jackie Brown and Mary Shields both of Pine Bluff; her brothers, Glenn Moss of Pine Bluff, David Moss of Little Rock and Dewayne Moss of Sheridan; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be posted as soon as they are finalized.
