Bonnie Velma West Harris, age 78, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center. The daughter of the late James and Mozelle Price West, she was born in Madison County, North Carolina on October 21, 1940. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen Harris; one daughter, Patricia Music; and one grandson, Charles Adam Music.

Bonnie, who enjoyed sewing and reading, retired from Ridgecrest Conference Center. One thing is for sure, she truly loved her family and will be greatly missed by all. Left to cherish her precious memories are two daughters, Betty Music Fain (Cal) and Robin West Smith; one son, James Harris Music (Chrystal); one brother, Tim Eden; three grandchildren, Bonnie Raines (Rocky), Carroll Jones (Rachel) and Chris Music (Janele); and four great grandchildren, Haley Raines, Gavin Raines, Daxton Music and Colton Music.

A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at Swannanoa Church of God. The date and time will be announced once it has been confirmed.
