On Wednesday, February 13, 2019, Bradford Brian Bingham passed away at the age of 64 due to complications related to pneumonia. Brad was born on June 11, 1954 in Patterson, NJ to George and Marion (Huber) Bingham. He graduated from Pompton Lakes High School (NJ) and upon graduation enlisted in the United States Air Force.

He spent 2 years stationed in Minot, North Dakota assigned to administrative duties before enrolling at Fairleigh Dickinson University where he studied Hotel Management. Brad left college early to start a career in the newly developing Casino industry in Atlantic City. He was hired by Resorts Casino Hotel which was the first legal casino outside of Nevada.

He was selected to throw the first dice game at the grand opening. He later joined Caesar’s Hotel and Casino where he spent 20 years overseeing his favorite game “craps”. On September 15, 1984 he married Colleen Anne Felcon after dating for 5 years.

They raised 2 children, David and Jen in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. After several years of being empty nesters they decided to retire to Dunnellon, FL. Brad loved the warm weather of Florida which allowed him to enjoy swimming in his pool almost all year round.

He enjoyed watching movies, listening to classic rock, traveling in the RV, barbeques, and floating on the Rainbow River in his Pontoon Boat with Colleen. He especially loved visits from his grandchildren and hanging out with his “crazy” brother-in-laws. He adored Colleen’s cooking and especially her holiday feasts.

Brad was a dedicated husband. He steadfastly tackled all his chores assigned to him by the boss – Colleen. During Colleen’s cancer treatments he chauffeured her to daily 7am appointments, while handling all the domestic duties of cooking, cleaning and shopping while she recovered.

But most importantly, his sense of humor kept her smiling throughout their 40 years together. Brad was preceded in death by his father George, his mother Marion, and his sister Georgia. He is survived by his wife Colleen, children Jen and David, his sister Lesley and her husband Alex and their children Andrew and Tamara, his 7 grandchildren David, Gregory, Eric, Ian, Sebastian, Luke and Jocelyn.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 10:30am at John the Baptist Catholic Church on 7525 US Hwy 41 Dunnellon, FL 34432. For memorial contributions, the family has designated the Wounded Warrior Project. You can donate a tax deductible contribution in honor of Brad at support.
