Leisten, 61 of Snohomish, WA passed away on August 22, 2018, at Providence Regional Medical Center, Everett, WA. He was born on September 28, l956 in Waupun, WI, the son of Donald and Barbara (Bremer) Leisten. He was married to Darlene Schliewe in Beaver Dam, WI on May 22, 1982.

He was a l974 graduate of Waupun High School, earned an Industrial Technology Degree from UW Stout in 1978 and a Mechanical Engineering Degree from UW Madison in 1984. He worked as a design engineer at The Boeing Commercial Airplane Company in Seattle, WA. Brad enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and the outdoors especially camping and fishing.

He was active in Boy Scouts having served as scout master for his son’s troop. His sense of humor and good natured personality will be greatly missed. Brad is survived by his wife, Darlene of Snohomish, WA, a son Kristopher (Natalie) Leisten of Redmond, WA, his father, Donald Leisten of Waupun, WI, a brother Ross (Jill) Leisten of Salisbury, MD, brother and sister-in-law, Dale (Cindy) Schliewe of Redwood Falls, MN and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Leisten, his grandparents and an infant daughter, Elizabeth. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 W. Main St., Waupun, WI from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Lang officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
