Obituary of Brad Stewart Bedford – Brad R. Stewart, 57, of Bedford, died at 8:33 am on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Born April 29, 1961, in Bedford, he was the son of Larry and Judith (Judah) Stewart. He retired from Crider & Crider as a heavy equipment operator after over thirty years of service.

He was a member of Operators Local #841, Gulletts Creek Baptist Church, and American Legion Auxiliary. He loved music and was a great guitar player, playing in several bands. He enjoyed camping and loved his dog, Lilly.

Survivors include his mother, Judith Stewart, of Bedford; a sister, Linda Short, of Bedford; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry, and a brother, Jeffrey Stewart. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 1st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Billy Brim officiating.

Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 31st at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Family and friends may express condolences at www.
