OBITUARY Braxton Hugh Taylor April 18, 1943 – December 15, 2018 On December 15th, surrounded by his family, Hugh lost his valiant 2. 5 year battle against cancer. Born and raised in Birmingham, he was a graduate of John Carroll High School, Georgia Tech, and Samford University school of Business.

In January of this year Hugh retired and turned over the ownership of Unique Industries, the manufacturing company he founded 42 years ago, to his son Pat. Hugh’s great loves in life were God, family, friends, and work. He is survived by Leslie Jones Taylor, wife and best friend of 53 years, his son Pat (Beth) Taylor, daughter Kristi (Gavin) Brunsvold, and Beth Rojanets and grandchildren; Megan & Erik Brunsvold and Natalie & Nikolas Rojanets.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 19th at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 2061 Patton Chapel Road, Hoover, AL 35216. Visitation 9:00-10:00 Service 10:00-11:00 In lieu of flowers Hugh requests that memorials be sent to the Catholic Center of Concern at P.O. Box 12701, Birmingham, AL 35202.
