Brenda Ann Burns O’Ryan,52, of Calhoun died Sunday, May 19, 2019. She was born in Calhoun, GA on February 11, 1967, daughter of William Carlis Burns and the late Rena Leatherwood Starkey. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Laney House Jr. Brenda was a member of East Calhoun Church.

She is survived by her fiancé Terry Bailey of Calhoun; sons, Dominic Gladney of Calhoun, Canyon Mantooth of Ft. Oglethorpe, and Caleb Bailey of Calhoun; daughters and sons-in-law, Kassey and Laney House of Adairsville, Kayla Chastain of Calhoun, Ariele and Zach Baggett of Calhoun, Maleah Cornwell and Andrew of Calhoun, and Shealin Bailey of Calhoun; grandchildren, Brylee House, Quinton House, Ella Grace House, Elijah House, Kaselyn Chastain, Noah Satterfield, Lyla Gonzales, Piper Baggett, Maverick Cornwell, and Adlie Cornwell; her father, William Carlis Burns; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Teresa Burns of Calhoun; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan Burns of Calhoun, April Thacker of Calhoun, Tracy and Toby Baldwin of Alabama, Brandy and Kenneth Price of Calhoun, and Robin and Randy Freeman of Calhoun. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 23rd at 7:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Pastor Keith Reid will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brenda O’Ryan Memorial Fund. Donations may be made online through our website or mailed to P.O. Box 1027 Calhoun, GA 30703.
