Obituary for Brenda Ann Johns Brenda Ann “Nena” Johns, 69, of Pendleton, passed away on October 20, 2018 at Community Hospital in Anderson. She was born on November 19, 1948 in Nicholasville, Kentucky and resided most of her life in Pendleton. She was a proud homemaker and mother.

Her passion in life was to help everyone she could and that included donating to many different organizations. Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Cecil T. Johns; children, Dottie, Thomas, Mary, Donnie, Billy, and Gavin; and grandchildren, Briana, Austin, Ryan, Emily, Wesley, Isaiah, Jocelyn, Carter, Jesse, and Lilly. Also surviving is her brother, Bobby Glen, and several nieces, nephews, and granddog, Maya.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert R. and Nora A. (Land) Lee; and siblings, Bobby Jr., Violet, Helen, Maggie, Eddie, Pauline, Donald, and Billy. Cremation will take place with a celebration of life held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Pendleton Fire Department (EMT).
