Brent B. Peterson 29, of South Bend, died at home Friday evening, May 18, 2018. He was born August 2, 1988 in South Bend, IN. He is survived by his loving parents, Bruce and Paula Peterson.

Also surviving to cherish his memory are his brother, Kurt Peterson (Katlyn Harrel) of South Bend; sister, Marie Peterson of South Bend; nephew, Kameron Peterson of South Bend; and his maternal grandmother, Ruth Broadrick of The Villages, FL. He was loved and supported by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Merle Broadrick, and paternal grandparents, Jean and Phil Peterson.

He attended Clay High School, Lincoln Tech, and Ivy Tech. He had a passion for skateboarding, snowboarding, and audio accessories. Brent enjoyed boating with his friends and family at Lake of the Ozarks, MO.

He was a very down-to-earth person, who could find a common interest with anyone he met. He valued his long-standing relationships with dear friends. He will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 24 at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Brent can be made to Pet Refuge, 4626 Burnett Drive, South Bend, IN 46614.
