MISHAWAKA – Stuart C. Wolfarth, 64, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Stuart was born on July 8, 1953 in South Bend to Fred Wolfarth and Beverly (Roush) Wolfarth and has been a lifelong resident of this area. Stuart had Bachelor degrees in Accounting & Public Affairs from Indiana University and a Masters in Economic Crime & Fraud Management from Utica College, New York, and was a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Stuart served 2 years as a South Bend Police Cadet and 20 years as an officer with the South Bend Police Department. Stuart worked in various departments including the Detective Bureau and as a Crime Scene Technician. He also worked as an IT Professional with St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka and had over 30 years in Tax Preparation and Accounting experience.

On January 1, 2009 in South Bend he was united in marriage to Marcia Braun-Wolfarth, who survives. Along with his parents, Fred and Beverly Wolfarth of Indianapolis, Stuart is also survived by his children, Robin Braun of South Bend, Timothy Braun of Omaha, NE, and Meredith Caldwell of South Bend; four grandchildren, Amelia, Zachary, Erin, and Andrew; sister, Amy Wolfarth of Indianapolis; and twin brother, Larry Wolfarth of Tacoma Park, Maryland. Memorial Services for Stuart will be at 6:00 PM Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave.
