Brett Howard Salter, 35, entered into rest October 14, 2018 at his residence in Martinez, GA. He shared his home with his loving wife, Melissa B. Salter and their family. Brett is a native of Augusta.

He truly loved and was very proud of his children. He was passionate about animals and very close to his pets. He was an avid football fan, enjoyed outdoor adventures, and loved to laugh and have fun with friends and family.

He was a carpenter by trade and took pride in his hard work and skills. Additional survivors include his daughters, Shelby and Emalee; son, Donovan; stepson, Aden; brothers, Timothy and Bobby Friar; and sisters, Krista Miller Rodriguez, Tammy Jardine, Tracie Bates, and Angela Glisson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Evelyn Graham Salter, and sister/caregiver, Robbin L. Miller.

A memorial service will be held at McNeill Funeral Home at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Loved ones are welcome to join the family afterward at 157A Stoneybrooks Pl. Martinez, Ga 30907 Donations can be made to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline or Brett Salter’s GoFundMe page.
