Obituary of Brett Southard Brett P. Southard, age 36, of Naugatuck, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born on July 30, 1982 he was a son of Charlene Lutz Southard of Naugatuck and Barry Southard and his wife Valerie of Florida. Brett was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents Charlene and Barry, survivors include three brothers, Scott Southard of Naugatuck, Bari Southard and Brendon Southard both of Bridgewater, nieces and nephews, Gianna, Trevor, Colin, Meredith, Ethan and Molly; his grandmother Ethel Southard of Bridgeport, as well as many aunts, uncles and friends. He was predeceased by grandparents Harold and Dolores Lutz. Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 12:00 p.m. in St. Jude Church, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown.
