Brian “Clyde” Claxton, 53, of Bardstown, passed away Tuesday February 5, 2019 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born March 18, 1965 in Bardstown, an employee for Conway-Heaton, and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Claxton; father, James Junior Duncan; and two brothers, Carlos Claxton, and Robert “Red” Claxton.

He is survived by six brothers, William “Lit” Lydian of Bardstown, Tony (Theresa) Jacobs of Lexington, Marion Jacobs, and Michael (Darlene) Johnson both of Bardstown, Dr. Ronald Claxton of Columbus, Ohio, and Dale (Melissa) Claxton of Bardstown; two sisters, Cynthia Claxton, and Genita Claxton both of Bardstown; special friend, Lisa Stone of Bardstown; and a host of nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be 1:00 pm Monday February 11, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Bardstown, with burial in Bloomfield Cemetery. Rev.

Michael N. Smith will officiate. Visitation will be 11 am – 1 pm Monday February 11 at First Baptist Church of Bardstown. Memorial contributions may go toward his service.
