Brian Corey Vaughn, age 37, of Sparta passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Brian was born September 30, 1981 in Crossville, Tennessee. He enjoyed working on cars and racing cars.

He was a former member of the Sparta-White County Rescue Squad and automobile enthusiast attending Rod Run every year with his family. He is preceded in death by his Father Billy Clifton Vaughn Sr., Brother, Billy Clifton Vaughn Jr., Sister N Law Jennifer Vaughn and grandparents Charlie and Evelyn Watson & Claude and Delia Vaughn, Aunt Vonda Disney, Several friends Dewey Presley, Bronson McBride, Ritchie Summers, Todd Spivey, Tom Good, Greg Hutchings, Paul Ryan Survivors include Step children Gregory Vinson and Erika Vinson, Girlfriend and caregiver Dawn Kelsey, Mother: Glenda Whitaker and Oscar Dominguez of Sparta Siblings: Sharon (Chubby) Lewis, Kevin (Tandy) Vaughn, Karen (Ricky) Keen, all of Sparta, half-brothers: Terry Lee Vaughn, Tommy (Cherrie) Vaughn, Michael Vaughn. Nieces and nephews: Candace (Matt) Norris, Caleb Keen, Seth Keen, Alivia Keen, Brantley Vaughn, Great niece and nephews Ryan Norris and Riley Norris, Aunt Barbara Payne, Cousin Lisa (David) Johnson, Uncle Robert (Cathy) Disney.

ARRANGMENTS: The family will receive friends on Friday, March 29, 2019, from 4-8 pm at Thurman Funeral Home in Sparta. The service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 11:00 am at Thurman Funeral Home with burial at New Bon Air Cemetery. will officiate.
