Mr. Griffin was born in Spring Lake, North Carolina, on April 13, 1969 to Robert D. and Christine C. (Graf) Lake. Brian worked in Quality Control at Confer Plastics in North Tonawanda, in his spare time he enjoyed target practice, cooking, reading,and gardening.

he was a beer connoisseur, also he enjoyed reading government trivia. Brian was predeceased by his wife Sherri Griffin who died in 2013 and their son. Brian is survived by his wife Amy (Bishop) Griffin, stepfather of Danielle (Jamison) Neglia, Kevin (Fiance Jasmine Bielec) DeMaison, son of Christine (Graf) Lake, grandfather of Jamison Neglia, brother of Samantha (Adam) Rochelle, uncle of Adia and Sawyer Rochelle.
