Brian’s Obituary GLENS FALLS – Brian John Swallow, 51, of Glens Falls, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 15th, 2019 at Glens Falls Hospital. Born October 31st, 1967, He was the son of the late Donna Lee Ulrichs and Thomas Ulrichs of Bolton Landing. He graduated from Suffern High School.

Brian worked for many years in the food industry working at and managing many different locations. He married Jennifer Fones in Lake George on September 5, 1992. Brian enjoyed working with his hands, woodcarving, working on puzzles, and scuba diving.

He enjoyed summers on Lake George with family and friends, whom he loved spending time with. Brian loved being around people sharing his stories and making them laugh. In addition to his wife, Jennifer, he was predeceased by his mother, Donna Lee Ulrichs; father, John Swallow; his son, Dustin Alexander Swallow; and his beloved dog, Julie.

Brian is survived by his loving daughter, Ashlee Swallow; father, Thomas Ulrichs; sister, LeeAnn Ulrichs and her companion, Dean Francis, and their son, Myles Lee Francis; Aunts, Pat Parker and Laura Zinck; Aunt, Sandra Sutherland and her companion Don McLellan and her children Jay and Amy, Jane Phillips her husband Bob Phillips; brother-in-law, Charles Fones and his wife, Lisa, and their sons, Chas and Zachary; sister-in-law, Rebecca Mills and her children, Amanda, Joshua, Brandon and Sydney; brother-in-law, Daniel Fones and his companion Lisa Williams, and his children, Andrew, Tanya, Chrystal, Angie, and Jimmy; along with his faithful dogs, Boo Boo and Max; and cat, Smudge. Family and friends may call on Brian’s family from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 22nd, at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

If you would like, please wear something orange in honor of his favorite color. Donations may be sent in Brian’s memory to Charles R. Wood Cancer Treatment Center, 102 Park St., Glens Falls, NY 12801, or to Baker Funeral Home to help defray expenses. The family wishes to thank the wonderful care givers of Glens Falls Hospital, Charles R. Wood Cancer Treatment Center, Hudson Headwaters Network, and Warren Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing for all of their compassion and support that they have given Brian and his family over the years.
