Brian ‘Zambo’ Berry, 49, a former resident of Shamokin, currently residing in Catawissa, passed away Tuesday, July 17th, 2018. Brian was born in Shamokin, on March 14, 1969, a son of the Carol (Persing) Berry of Mt. Carmel and the late John Berry.

He was currently employed at Spice, Inc. in Elysburg, a place where he considered his co-workers family. Brian loved being outdoors, and was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed watching golf. He truly enjoyed hanging out with the fella’s up at the tracks, and he was usually the life of any party.

Brian also enjoyed Penn State Football and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, John in 2010. He is survived by his mother, Carol Berry of Mt.

Carmel and a brother, Michael Berry, and his wife Jodi, of Catawissa. Two aunts, Mary Lou Bainbridge of Excelsior and Ellen Bainbridge of California also survive along with numerous cousins, a niece and nephew. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
