Brittany’s Obituary Brittany Beverly Ann Fate Anderson, age 32 of Portland formerly of Remus, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 30, 2019. She was born November 14, 1986, the daughter of Michael and Sandra (Newcombe) Fate. Brittany graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 2005.

She was currently employed by Cargill in Ionia. Brittany was a professional arm wrestler and enjoyed baking. She loved spending time with her family, who she appreciated.

Brittany will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her parents, Michael and Sandra Fate of Big Rapids; 12 siblings, Carolyn (James) Ryder, Bradley Fate, William Fate, Patrick (Jaclyn) Fate, Richard Fate, Christine (Mike) Arrand, Nicholas Fate, Sadie Fate, Sarah Fate, Shelby Fate, Shawn Fate, and Shari Fate; paternal grandmother, Ruth Fate of Remus; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brittany was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Horace “Joe” Fate and maternal grandparents, Stan and Margaret Newcombe.

A celebration of life will take place at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2019 at Resurrection Life Church of Big Rapids with Pastor Keith Richards officiating.
