Brooks W. Wilkinson, MD, 62, passed away at home in Chicago July 1, 2018. He was born in Clarksburg, WV October 1, 1955. He is survived by a brother, Amos (Lisa) Wilkinson, MD of Bridgeport, WV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Bernard and Norma Wilkinson, two sisters, Carolyn Brent, MD and Constance Pois, and brothers Bernard, Jr. and Stuart Wilkinson. Brooks grew up in Clarksburg, WV. He graduated from Washington Irving high school and attended Boston University.

He received his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean. After completing a residency in psychiatry and a fellowship in adolescent psychiatry at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago in 1992 he practiced in Chicago for 26 years. As per his wishes there will be no funeral service after cremation.

A private family service will be held at a later date in remembrance of this kind and compassionate man we lost too soon.
