Obituary for Bruce Robert Pogue BRUCE POGUE Bruce Robert Pogue, 69, of Newnan, husband of Darlene Julia Tapolcai Pogue, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at his home. Born in Westmoreland County, PA, February 12, 1949, he was a son of the late Richard Lamont and Wilburetta Shorthouse Pogue. He was a proud Veteran having served in the United States Marines and was retired from NCR in Peachtree City.

Mr. Pogue was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Reisenhart. Surviving in addition to his wife of forty-three years are four daughters, Jennifer Lamb and husband Morgan of Lone Oak, GA, Kelly Pogue Kelley and husband Michael of Newnan, Danielle Kelly and husband Will and Kimberly Bernhardy and husband Brian, all of Pittsburg, PA; a son, Christopher Pogue of Newnan; ten grandchildren; niece, Amanda Kurtz of Phoenix, AZ; and a nephew, Steven Kurtz. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:00 PM from the McKoon Funeral Home Chapel, 38 Jackson Street, with Mr. Jarey Downing officiating.
